![]() ![]() Here is the command and result: wmic /node:"%target%" product where name="Cisco Unified Personal Communicator" call uninstallĮxecuting (\\(target)\ROOT\CIMV2:Win32_Product.IdentifyingNumber="",Name="Cisco Unified Personal Communicator",Version="ĬUPC, the program I am trying to install, is Java based, so I thought maybe a browser or other Java application was causing interference, but I tested for that, and I still see this issue even after shutting down all browsers and anything that looks like a Java process. I've tried running the command as myself (a domain admin), and as the local admin account, but I get the same result everytime. According to MSI return codes, this error means "User cancel installation", but I've watched one of the machines I'm pushing to, and they never see any kind of pop-up. When I try to run it on any other machine, though, I get a ReturnValue of 1602. I am trying to do the first step using WMIC, and it works in all of my testing on my test machine when I am logged in, as well as the testing user. Any WMIC gurus out there? I've got a Windows batch file that is designed to remove one IM client (Cisco Unified Personal Communicator) and install another.
